Tithelea National Velvet (Anni) gains a very impressive 3rd place in the UK Agility Steeplechase Grand Finals 2011!!
Tithelea Last Crusade wins into Novice HTM and is now Tithelea Last Crusade St. HTM (Ex)!!! Indy has just come back from a HTM competition at Westglen DTC where he won his first heelwork class. He gained a score of 22.17! It wont be long now till he moves into Novice. Indy took part in his first freestyle routine and had a lovely round coming 6th and gained a rather large rosette. He also came away with a 9th place in his heelwork class. Well what a championships it has been ... lots of offspring competing and doing rater well! Snoopy helped his team to victory in his division and came home with lots of trophies and prizes. Tullulah's team was very unlucky when the team height dog and also Tullulah became injured, even so they finished 3rd so not a bad result at all! Summer's team again was very lucky and after injuries the team was down to 2 dogs so unable to finish the days racing, again they did very well and managed a 4th place in Divsion 3. Blue Ocean Coral helped her team to 3rd place in Division 2. Black Night Diamond (Fay) helped her team to a 2nd place. Quantum Of Solace (Sonic) helped her team to a 4th place. India Two Lucky (Indie) helped her team to a dramatic victory in Division 1 and has become part if the British Championship Winners Team of 2011. Anni (Tithelea National Velvet) has qualified for the UKA First Contact Beginners Steeplechase Final. This will be held in Dec 2011 and we wish Anni lots of luck! Last weekend Jasmine (Blue Ocean Coral) helped her team Rotherham Rockets set a new fastest time for the club ever of 16.80. This has moved them up into the top 10 in the British Rankings. She is the height dog for the team running at 11" and is running around 4.5 sec. I've just heard today that Morse (Tithelea Harry Potter) has come 3rd in the Puppy National Rankings for TD Rally. This is a huge achievement and we wish Morse more success in the future! Tithelea Lord of The Rings aka Merlin has has several places in his first Novice obedience competitions but at the May Bank Holiday Show he placed first. He was originally tied for first with another dog (who had already had 6 1st's in Novice), after redoing their rounds again Merlin was pronounced the winner. It looks like Merlin may be on his way to being Bev's 4th obedience champion! We wish them both lots more sucess! Last Saturday saw our YKC team take 2nd place at the Hatchford Brook Qualifiers which now means that the team is off to Crufts 2012. Unfortunatly we were missing dogs and handlers and the team had been thrown together at the last minute which makes qualifiying even better! It seems that everything was thrown against us not to get to the qualifier with dogs and handlers unable to attend. Then cars breaking and others with no transport. We managed to get all sorted and the 2 cars took off to Birmingham, only to find that the M6 was shut as they were landing an air ambulance on it. Arriving with 1 min to spare we got there just in time and were able to race. The first race was against Prestbury Park. This was by no means a perfectly run race but they won with ease. As there was only 4 teams at the comp this meant that they had qualified for Crufts as they would finish in the top 2. The final was against Warrington Whizzkids. This didn't go to plan at all and showed up the lack of practice and they lost in style. However from watching the race it does show that even with all the mistakes we weren't far behind so when we have the right dogs and handlers they should be a force to be reckoned with!! Well done all and enjoy Crufts!! |
