We absolutely adore Pan. He's such a gorgeous dog! He has the best temperament; really happy, friendly and confident. He settled in with us almost immediately and we've had no trouble with him at all (shouldn't really say that as he's getting into his 'teenage period' so that's bound to come back and bite me!). He just loves other people and dogs and really has the Border Collie ego, just expecting everyone to think he's cute and stop for him. You
can see the insult all over his face if someone walks past without even a look! He's really bright and as he gets older just seems to get better as he learns to control himself better. We can now make him wait on the pavement while we go into the park before we release him to come in too., which is really an achivement for him! You can see him trembling with excitement but he does it. He excelled at puppy class. The first class the instructor gave everyone a talk about what you could expect to learn at the classes and every time she mentioned a command in passing, Pan demonstrated it. That was at 12 weeks and surrounded by lots of other puppies who just seemed to want to eat their owners shoes! It was quite funny, the little show off! Then class two they let all the puppies off the lead to play and Pan looked on, horrified, before trying to herd them all! In the New Year, Pantufla is starting KC Good Citizen and when he gets to 9months there is a local Flyball club that does a junior tasting course for 6 weeks to see if they might like it which we're going to take him to. Most of all, he's picked up his owners' passion for travelling, and has already visited all sorts of places across the country. He gets really excited now when he sees the suitcase come out! We picked up his passport last week too, so in the New Year there will be many more adventures coming up for him!
