Just thought you would like to know that Poppy has passed her KC puppy foundation assessment!  She was a superstar and such a quick learner - she won the 'stay' competition twice!!!!  We are signed up to start the bronze element of the Good Citizen Scheme when the next classes start so can't wait to further her training!!   At home Poppy is doing really well too.  We had a few days a couple of weeks ago where all of a sudden the urge to chase bikes and runners was too good to resist!!  We seem to have nipped this in the bud though and she is reliably responding to 'wait' by stopping and lying down!   We cannot say enough good things about our girl and she is proving to be an excellent advert for Snoopy's genes!



She is affectionately known as Poppy (previously Skye) and her KC name is Caras Request.  She is a gorgeous tricolour (we think she may end up like Snoopy's mum!!).   She is a very affectionate little girl and is soooo quick to learn - we got her on the 9th of this month and she is already toileting reliably outside!!
      I am definately going to do the good Citizen scheme with her and would love to train agility with her, even if its just for fun!!  I am a runner and once she is mature Poppy will be my new running partner so her fitness will not be an issue!!  
      Poppy is exceptionally sharp - she picks stuff up soooo quickly, it would be a shame not to make the most of it!  She has already been hopping over the broom handle with my daughters and going through the tunnel on their play tent - its in the genes!!!!
