Costa's temperament and attitude to life is exactly why I put Snoopy and Summer together, he is exceptionally bright, loves to work and has the speed and agileness to excel at it all. He is a very loving boy and his favourite thing is curling up for cuddles in front of the fire.
Costa has been competing in Flyball for a couple of years now and has already gained his BFA Ice Blue Moon Award which is 20,000 points and his UKFL Cadet Superior award of 5000 points. He progressed very quickly and posted a PB of 3.91 seconds, with so much more to give. Unfortunately he suffered several set backs after he was interfered with by opposition dogs and has lost his flyball mojo. We are working hard to build his confidence again however he is still one of the clubs most reliable dogs and never puts a paw wrong still throwing out 4.1 despite his confidence crash. Costa has helped his team to multiple BFA and UKFL Championship wins.
Costa absolutely lives for agility, unfortunately he hasn't had the opportunity to do too much of it which is a great shame. He has now moved up into Novice Steeplechase and qualified for the UKA Grand Finals in Circular Knockout. He measures at Standard height and although we do less than a handful of shows a year I hope we can progress further.
Costa has sired five litters from crosses to collies. They have produced some superb puppies who are excelling at Flyball and Agility. From these litters we exported our first puppy who has now become a French record holder for Flyball. He has sired various height dogs running in 15 sec teams throwing 3.7 sec times. There are also medium agility dogs competing at Champion level in UK Agility. His first litter of full collies has now been born and we are excited to see how they develop.
Costa has also gained his Novice, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert Trick Titles along with being awarded the TD-ROM for producing outstanding offspring in the sport of tricks.
