ABOUT COSTA
Costa is from our Dinosaur litter - 'Snoopy x Summer'. His temperament and attitude to life is exactly why I put Snoopy and Summer together, he is exceptionally bright, loves to work and has the speed and agileness to excel at it all. He is a very loving boy and his favourite thing is curling up for cuddles in front of the fire.
Costa is very forgiving and patient and even in his older years tolerates the nonsense of the youngsters with ease. An out and out Mummy's boy he has always been an easy to dog to live with and work as he just wants to please.

Costa has sired five litters from crosses to collies. They have produced some superb puppies who are excelling at Flyball and Agility. From these litters we exported our first puppy who has now become a French record holder for Flyball. He has sired various cockerx collie height dogs running in 14 sec teams throwing 3.7 sec times. There are also medium agility dogs competing at Champion level in UK Agility.
With age he is no longer at stud.

SPORTS

Flyball - Costa has been competing in Flyball for a good few of years now and has already gained his BFA Platinum Award and UKFL Flight Lieutenant award. He is also the highest UKFL points scoring dog in our household and club.
He progressed very quickly at the start of his career and picked up the sport with ease. He went on to post a PB of 3.91 seconds, with so much more to give - he should have seen at least 3.6's. Unfortunately he suffered several set backs after he was interfered with by opposition dogs and lost his flyball mojo. Although he was able to return to the lanes his spark wasn't quite the same so although he never showed us the speed he could he is however one of the clubs most reliable dogs and never puts a paw wrong which is why he is also the dog with the most BFA and UKFL Championship wins. He is now coming to the end of a long and incredible career and when he does finally hang up his racing boots we know he is going to be big loss to his team.
In 2022 he also helped his team to the UKFL Multibreed Champion Title and then successfully defend this title in 2023 making him a 2x Champion!

Agility - Costa absolutely lives for agility, unfortunately he hasn't had the opportunity to do too much of it which is a great shame. Prior to covid we managed a handful of shows each year and despite this he moved into Novice Steeplechase and qualified for the UKA Grand Finals in Circular Knockout. He measures at Standard height.

Tricks - Costa loves to work and please and as such took easily to learning new things. He has gained his Novice, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert Trick Titles along with being awarded the TD-ROM for producing outstanding offspring in the sport of tricks.

Hoopers - During lockdown he passed the time by learning a new game of hoopers. He has gained his Foundation, Bronze and Silver Awards. As he comes towards the end of his flyball career hoopers will certainly be something that he can continue on with to give him something fun to do.
