ABOUT MINION
Despite his looks Minion was in fact a Lurcher as his Mum is part Whippet! He was such a loving dog and gave the best cuddles in the world...he would wrap his long legs around you and bury his head into your neck! At eight years old he was still a true puppy at heart, he loved to play and still had puppy zoomies.

He measured 50cm at the withers and weighed in around the 13kg mark.
He clearly had traits from both his parents... the collie stalk, chase from both, speed of a whippet, love to work and brains of a collie but the baby nature of a whippet making him an all round lovely combination.

Minion was out and out a Mummys boy and he was never far away from Christina. He loved nothing more than working with his favourite human no matter what the task and just wanted to please. When he knew he had been good he would tap dance in delight. He loved to fetch things and would often take a pen off the side just so he could bring it back.
 

SPORTS
Minion adored learning and working for his human which meant he was able to turn his paw to most things.

Flyball - Minion had already clocked 4.1 second times in flyball despite looking like he isn't trying very hard at all going in. His speed back to his Mum showed what he had under the hood and it was like watching two dogs - one bounding in and the other driving back with all his might. He was incredibly reliable, ran anywhere and for anyone if needed. He was usually found doing tricks in between races and earning as many treats as he could.
He gained his BFA Silver Award which is 10,000 points and also has his UKFL Pilot Officer Award of 10,000 points and has helped his team gain multiple BFA and UKFL Championship wins. 

Agility - He only managed a handful of shows and was just a clear round away from moving up the levels at UKA. He certainly enjoyed his agility and this seemed to be the sport for him. He had a beautiful wait and worked away superbly and had we had chance to do a little more would I suspect have had a wonderful agility career.
He measured at Intermediate height.

Tricks - Minion absolutely loved to learn and please and put these skills to good use as a trick dog. He gained his Novice, Novice Masters, Intermediate Masters, Advanced, Expert Trick Titles and became a Trick Dog Champion. He started work on his Grand Champion Title but unfortunately passed before we could complete it. His favourite game was to fetch and it doesn't matter what it was, remote, phone, bottle, tissue... whatever you need, Minion would fetch it! Minion was awarded the Trick Dog Register of Merit (TD-ROM) for producing outstanding offspring in the sport of tricks
